"Fluffy and soft to the touch... for anyone sensitive to wool, these could be for you." - FROW Magazine
Turning waste into wonder
Our REplaid scarves are crafted from 100% recycled plastic bottles, which may have otherwise ended up in oceans or landfill.
As soft as a cloud
Using a combination of air texturising and brushing, we've created a fluffy, pillowy soft hand feel that won't irritate sensitive skin.
A modern take on plaid
By combining a classic plaid design with a oversized fit, we've given this timeless style a contemporary twist.
Wear it your way
A long, fringed design allows for multiple ways to wear your REplaid scarf. Follow @shinjukulanes on Instagram for styling tips.
So incredibly soft and cozy, amazing fabric and love the orange/red colour! Thank you :-)
Was a bit skeptical with it being made from plastic bottles, but it's actually way softer than my wool one. Tempted to get another as a gift
I was so excited when this arrived, love how thick and soft it is! Would love to see in more colours x
Was on the hunt for an oversized scarf and this one is perfect, love it
Honestly can’t believe how soft and cozy this scarf is. If I didn’t know already, I would never have guessed it was made of recycled plastic bottles. I even did tests on lots of friends and they all thought it was wool! Also such beautiful colours. Thank you, I love it!
I have recently purchased one each of the colours and designs from Shinjuku Lanes.
The scarves arrived beautifully packaged and are stunning. They feel and look great.
Loved all of the scarves. I’ve had great comments already.
Gorgeous sarongs, this is the second one I’ve ordered because I was so delighted with the first one. Really looking forward to wearing them for my winter holiday.
I bought a green and an orange sarong to choose between two of them and ended up keeping both!
The fabric is soft, light yet hangs beautifully unlike some sarongs that are too floaty.
As it’s made of bamboo fibres thus a strong material I took the chance and put it in the washing machine and surprisingly it washed really well despite it’s label saying hand wash only is recommended.
I reshaped it a bit before ironing whilst still dump, straight after taking it out of the machine. Mine came out fresh and new 😊
I had a matching colour bikini for the burnt orange sarong and now I will try and find a neutral colour bikini to go with the green one!
Well fortunately nowadays the fashion doesn’t dictate what colours the items should be to match between them which gives us more choices and opportunities to wear them.
I’m also considering using my orange sarong as a beach towel and lay it on the sands for sunbathing as I believe it’s strong enough for it but of course I will be careful at handling it!
I’m a happy customer thanks to the efficient and helpful service the team provide with great communication and online shopping was easy and straightforward, fast delivery and fair prices for the quality products they sell! 👍😊
Love it, can’t wait to wear it in the sun.
I have ordered 3 sarongs now - they are beautiful and I've had many comments on how lovely they are
Such a lovely colour- and beautifully soft. And ethically sound too! Sure will be a favourite.
Have had a number of sarongs over the years and kept none because the poor quality meant either they creased, fell apart or were too skimpy.
This beautiful garment is none of those and I know it will form part of my holiday wardrobe for years to come.
I’m so pleased with my sarong. I’ve been looking for a monochrome sarong for a while and this is such lovely soft material. I hadn’t heard of the brand so it was a bit of a gamble buying from them - I’m so glad I did. Even the packaging was beautiful. I will definitely be buying from them again.
I purchased two of these sarongs to give to girlfriends as thank you gifts. I was attracted to the brand because of their ethics and values, but the quality did not disappoint - the colours and material are beautiful - and they arrived very quickly! Keep up the great work, Shinjuku Lanes!
